Some of the measures taken, such as racial quota for sports are applauded. Basketball for example, is generally dominated by the chinese. The quota system as described above ensures or at least try to give the sport a good mix. It is not everyday you get to see other races other than chinese playing basketball, unless you're from the city. But I do agree that the other examples are just polarizing the younger generation, and that most Malaysians associate religion with race. I beg to differ.
